Claire works as Data Manager at South Hunsley and has wide experience in the field of data management both in educational settings (universities and schools) as well as at local authority level.
Claire has developed systems for sharing data with a range of stakeholders, including parents, students, governors and data professionals. Her natural affiliation for working with data has driven her to refine systems for the visual presentation of information and its most effective use in monitoring ad evaluation. Such effective use of data has allowed targeted support to be organised to raise performance at individual student, subject and whole school level.
Claire has made a significant contribution in supporting the ‘closing the gap’ agenda, working with the Assistant Head for Inclusion to provide clear, timely and detailed information to support the work undertaken with vulnerable groups. In 2013, the school won the regional pupil premium award, which was supported by the quality of the data provided.
Claire has been awarded the National Data Managers Award (NDMA), through submission of an extensive portfolio of evidence in relation to the use of data and whole school improvement.
